Here at Kirsty's Bird Sanctuary we strive to bring a safe and loving home to any birds in need. With our massive love for all animals we currently hold our rehabilitation wildlife license and our full international and restricted bird license. Follow our story, love and animal family today in the quest for a safer happier life for all!

At home at the Sanctuary

The Gardens & Land: Here at the sanctuary, we are creating a peaceful safe release site for native Aussie animals in care. Gardens filled with plants, flowers and food. Enclosures for flight space and rehabilitation. Our aim is to ensure all our released patients have a safe and food filled environment to return to if required for a safe and happy future.

The Permanent Sanctuary Animals: We provide a safe and stable forever home for any DOMESTIC BIRDS, whether it's due to noise complaints, changes in circumstances, deceased estates, behavior issues etc. These birds are not sold or adopted out.

FARM ANIMALS: We will never close our doors to orphans or rejected babies but due to land requirements we are currently at capacity for the amount we are allowed to keep here so further babies will be rehomed or adopted when ready. (Unless we receive a miracle of more land)

Domestic Pets: We do emergency care of orphaned and abandoned kittens and puppies with all animals adopted out once their vet work is complete (desexing, vaccination + microchipping) We either permanently raise or pass onto a specific rescue when availabilities are sourced.

Facilities: We have a range of facilities available for rehabilitation including, macropod yards, Intensive Care Units, Incubation items, assorted pens, aviaries and enclosures. Medical resources and supplies plus much more.
